Is there any timeline for DEK1 in Magnacut?

I have a ton of them that have been setting in a shipping crate waiting for a successful scaling up of the heat treat that we developed for it.

They are machined, they are ground, the heat treat protocol is finished. The scales and sheaths are made. We're just trying to scale it (the high volume commercial heat treat) up and it's taking a while.

Hey gang, can we please try to minimize chit chat in this thread. There are a ton of subscribe to it for the information and the chit chat messes with the signal to noise ratio.

There's some neato cool International Paper vintage micarta available on the SDFK. International Paper bought the Micarta brand and process directly from Westinghouse. This material predates the "Norplex" () stuff. I like it.

Nope, sorry, the UF2 has pretty much run the course. We have a few of the double edge remaining because they're time consuming to make so there's still blanks available.

Sorry for the newbie questions, but Basic 5 is Basic Field Knife 5”? Slow also means there is a greater opportunity for those of us that are inexperienced with slow internet?

Yes


The first few sales of the a pattern are usually pretty quick but they slow down after that. I imagine towards the end of the run we will have basic fives up and available all weekend.
