I've always respected Kershaw for making quality USA knives at good prices, but I never liked most of their designs because they seemed to have a liner lock, speed assist, recurve, or some combination of them all. Well, I saw someone post these pictures in the Kershaw subforum and I think I'm going to purchase this. Best of all, it's only $50.

It has everything I like, no stupid recurve, completely manual opening, it's a frame lock, and I love the small touch where the flipper recesses into the handle when the blade is open. I always thought the visible flipper looked tacky on other knives.

It's sleek, thin, and the blade is a tad under 3", looks to be the perfect EDC.

That's on my list also.
Looks like a well designed knife.

Really? What? The fact that I asked if it was AO? Or that I said nice looking knife? Please elaborate

It says completely manual opening in the original post.

And I agree with what someone else said, that flipper is VERY "out there".

It opens as fast as any "speedsafe" equipped Kershaw but it isn't an AO.

i have so many kershaws on my list, and not nearly enough funds for any of them lol. this does seem liek a very solid knife, and i think i may be bumping it much further up on my list after seeing pics and preliminary reveiws.

And the flipper isn't way out there. I have one in my hand right now. Less than 1/4 inch.

It's very slick! The G-10 has a very fine checkering, and with the flipper you can both open and close it without touching the blade.

I've been carrying it for almost a week now. I cannot quit reaching for it.

The flipper hasn't caught on anything, it hasn't opened in my pocket, it's not made in China,
yes it's a frame lock, it doesn't have a torsion bar, yes it is drilled for lefties, yes it has a lock stabilizer.
Did I leave anything out? :D

I didn't even notice the lock stabilizer until you said so. It just gets even sweeter

It's a little doodad that prevents you from overextending the framelock.
