When possible, I prefer to buy products made in the United States. Besides a few SAKs and one Fällkniven, the rest of my knives were/are made in the U.S. I also seek out US made gadgets/gear and I’m always on the look out for others. So, show your American pride and let’s see some of your favorite products Made in the USA! :)

Here are a few of my favorites and the states where they were made.

Where was the camera made?

Kidding. Nice collection.

There are many ways to limit or specify your collection. This is a fairly common choice, but please be mindful of esteemed members that have pride in their non-USA origins. O.P. You have a nice collection and should be proud. Thank you for sharing. I look forward to seeing tastefully presented collections from others;)

My boots, both for work and hiking are made in the USA.

My Filson gear is made in the USA, jacket and wallet. Used to have a hat, but don't know the origin.

Old Timer pocketknives, every one of them made in the USA prior to 2004.

We should have a "made in Japan" topic next. I've got some really cool stuff from there.

Very nice Old Timer collection and those are some serious black boots. May I ask what those are used for and do I need a pair? :)

They are 16" Matterhorn boots, designed for use in the mining industry and meet all of the MSHA safety requirements such as full metatarsal protection. I don't recommend wearing them around town or woodsbumming though; they are quire heavy.
There are shorter sizes too. But with 14" boots, you'd be surprised how often the water is 14-1/2 inches deep. ;)

Those high black boots are the type loggers wear !! Real men !!

I have those (mining boots) too, they also made the logging boots I wear. BTW don't bother traveling to the factory town where the boots are made for pocket knives, because someone already passed through there, buying all the NOS Schrade they could find. :D

I really want a pair of Danner boots, however, not for $350. Lol, cool thread.

The Mountain Lights are normally in the $200-250 range. Excellent boots that can last for multiple years, or hundreds of miles of rugged hiking. If you take care of the leather, it'll last longer than the Vibram, so they can be re-soled for another year of use.

For perspective, the Mountain Lights cost about half as much as the Matterhorn mining boots. ;)

That collection of Old Timers has been a work in progress for ten year. It's been a long time since I've seen a NOS at an actual store. And the odds of finding a NOS Old Timer now that's not already in the collection is practically nil. :)

Filson sadly outsources many products now. Even to Communist countries.

Most of the everyday clothing is imported, but the heavy-duty outdoor wear is still mostly made in the USA or, "made in the USA from imported materials." Leather products such as belts and wallets are made in the USA. They are upfront at their website as to which items are imported and which are domestic.

Danner too outsources some of its products to communist countries. If you want USA made Filson and Danner, shop carefully.

I like many things manufactured in Europe. Optics, firearms, knives, shoes, watches, cut crystal, etc. Cars and trucks I prefer Japanese and Korean.

Went through my Photobucket and found a photo containing all US made products.

Yes, of course. No offense intended. I have pride in my Fällkniven and SAKs as well. I would be more than happy to participate in a "Made in Japan or Switzerland" thread. :)

None taken. Your post was on point and above board! I just wanted your thread to not "go there", it's better for those of us that are interested in this sort of thing;)

This thread needs more pictures. (The towel was not made in USA, but it's fabulous;))

Good thinking. Thanks! Now tell me about that cool shaving gear.
