It is blade heavy and balances right at the end of the micarta.

I went into the Box-o-INFI for my skinny Satin Jack

With the saber grind, the BOSS Jack carries it’s full thickness almost the length of the blade. It only tapers in the last ¾”

The handle of the BJ is thinner than the SJ, but has some contouring

How do you order one? I was just on the Busse web page, didn't see it there.

Sorry, these knives were only available by special order to those who made it to the Busse Combat table at the spring Knob Creek Gun show. Since they are marked Proto, there is a chance the design will show up on the Busse site, eventually.

Guess I'll just have to wait and see......:grumpy:

A Terror Monkey version of the Boss Jack to go along with the Desert Storm Fighter and the Boss Street would make a nice set.

The BOSS Jack weighs 11.7 oz. Now for some measurements vs the SJ.

OAL ........................... 11.25 ...vs....11.5
Blade .......................... 6.2......vs....6.25
Choil to tip.................... 5.39.....vs.....5.14
Thickness......................0.217...........0.205
Blade width...................1.29.............1.27
Handle length.................5.02............5.18
Scale length...................4.54............4.77
Handle thickness.............0.71............0.74

Versus a very similar blade - the Basic 7. The 7 is a tad longer, obviously Res-C handle, but the weight is danged close (by feel) and balance is near the same as well.

What kind of pattern is cut into the Boss Jacks handle. I noticed it looks different than the regular Busse's.

sweet knife ! I hope a production version in satin with no groove comes out soon!!
