The Official Lanyard Thread

It is starting to get a chill in the air, first of October and all ;) this is one of my favorite beads, I've a few but this one has some neat features,

ancient Chinese seal characters more than 2000 years ago--"Fu Jia Tian Xia", it means "All the wealth of the world", and the turtle shell has been regarded as a mascot for wealth and luck

I've a few other beads that are also my fav's as well, this one was added not too long ago to the array.

I’ve definitely jumped on the lanyard band wagon. I like the look of the leather lanyards but more importantly I actually find them very useful for pulling the knife out of the pocket. I pretty much consider them a must on smaller knives now. Went and got some leather lacing from Tandy leather and been going lanyard crazy!

I never thought of that one as a rapper myself, more of just a mysterious person, maybe a secret super hero? either way I redid it with just a whipping knot at the top instead of a snake knot, making it fit better to the knife
Cast copper bead,

For a few knives there isn't a place to attach a lanyard, like on this Spyderco Sun & Moon Chaparral folder, so I took one of my dye dauber metal handle and cut off a section and bent it to fit down into the clip slots and now I have a small hook to attach a lanyard to, worked out well I thought ;)
