The Official "What's In Your Growler?" Thread

Pro tip: do not eat miracle berries and drink beer. It makes everything taste like Bud Select 55. Or at least what I imagine it tastes like, which is downright horrible.

It's 1st fillup at bay cities brewery ex route to a late season deer hunting trip over the holidays. Russian imperial stout. Very tasty.

Then I made it a carrier out of paracord. Still needs a better strap and a way of slinging a ka-barley to it.

Took maybe 75 feet of paracord, a plastic buckle and 3 d-rings.

Get quite a few comments when I go to fill it up.

That is awesome....but for some reason, the pictures of it sans growler conjure "chastity belt fail" in my mind.

mmm, man harness for the growler. needs a matching harness for the gathering :D

though, worn by womens :D

got my two growlers

now need to find a beer parlour that will fill them

Granite,

I'm reading this during my morning coffee. "Chastity belt fail" was so funny I think I self inflicted a coffee nose enema snorting up my coffee.... :)

That model of belt isn't too difficult to pick the lock, though.... It's fitting it's on the lots to love XXL 64 oz model, eh? The smaller small petite 32 oz would need a lock......

Love this place.

Maybe the kinkiest thing I've ever seen.

the growler harness is awesome.
However, I don't see the need to sling a Ka-barley to it. Do you go hunting for six-packs to pour into your growler?? Presumably the growler removes the need...

yar. found a place to fill my stainless steel growlers :D

local to work.

128 oz of brew

also have a good load of sea food and some beef short ribs to cook in the sous vide later

but now, some dr who catchup. with beeru.

I'll be over in an hour.

Finally, filled for the first time!

Had to search for this thread....I was all excited to go over to the Tributary Brewery in ME today.....and they wouldn't fill my growler :extreme sadface:. Some crap about state laws, blah blah. Still, had my two 32 ouncers (that I was gonna return for the $$) with me and got refills of Rye and Tripel. Imma have to see if this is possible in NH....'cause it ain't in Maine.

there's a place in merrimack that will fill them, but you have to buy a $3 per growler with their logo... 5 brews typically. not far "from the AB plant" off old route 3 - able ebenezer.

it's not so much a law, as a policy to prevent being sued.
