The official "Where's The Box" Thread!

Waiting on the Box from MrCoffee, but I figured I'd share what I'm adding to the Box...

001-56.jpg

An Ontario 7" butcher's knife, convex ground and wrapped in 550 cord.
Opinel No. 10 with lanyard.
Skinner that I made, inside a general purpose carrying case.
CRKT Stiff KISS sheath.
Kabar TDI sheath.
Becker BK13 sheath.
Gerber Recon-X light.
Streamlight Nano.
Streamlight Key-Mate.
Spanish bayonet, convex ground, with sheath.

002-57.jpg

Non military-issue boonie hat, never worn.
Paintball tubes (two of them) with belt holster (they're pretty airtight).
Water-tight vials. Only one is shown, but there are five of them all together.
Subdued American flag patch. It slides on and off (and has a Velcro back) and will fit a pistol belt.
Birchwood-Casey Sheath Take-Along.
Aluminum cooking pot with lid / skillet. Never used.
Comedy DVD.

004-57.jpg

Kershaw brag bag type knife storage bag.

003-59.jpg

Has 12 pockets, but will hold many more knives.

Some of the stuff will be packed inside the other stuff and will be noted as such to keep the box from overflowing. There will also be something else...

Wow! I hate to say it, but AINT NO WAY you are fitting all that in! :) Went thru the box last night, and plan to watch a DVD or two, and I have yet to pick which items I am going to take from the box... so many things to choose from... :) Then of course trying to figure out all the goodies that I want to add myself.... :D Will post pictures of what I take out thou.

Should be heading to Tomorrow afternoon :)

Dude, if that thing doesn't fit in the box and you just can't stand the sight of it and have to get rid of it, let me know. I'd be more than happy to take that off your hands.

I was thinking exactly that about the Boonie Hat... :D

Ok, box is all packed up and ready to go! :)

Thanks to all you guys that already put your items in.... I grabbed the Spec Ops sheath, a small camo pocket, the benchmade blade, and the Mag lite. I had to try out the benchmade, never held one before and I fell in lust with it..... :) And the Maglite is going to replace the one I left at the scene of an accident a while back when I stopped to help.

I added 8 items I hope will make someone else days the way these items made mine :)

Which Mag lite did you take? IIRC there was a 3D and a 2AA.

Grabbed the 3D cell monster.... handy on the road... was going to replace the one I lost... just hadn't yet... mine was.... 24 years old....

I'm glad you enjoyed the Benchmade. They don't make that one anymore.

Well I really like it a lot! Very Solid... never knew why so many folks were in love with the Benchmades....now I do! :)

I forgot to mention I grabbed a couple sticks of (I assume) the fatwood :)

Yeah that 3D mag could be used as a weapon!! LOL, what kind of benchmade did you get yourself Mrcoffee?

Yup, the 3d is a heavy beasty, but I love them for CERT call outs and whenever I stop for cars off the road etc. Just about prefect for me... :)

Not sure which Benchmade it is, Teague..? Youhoooooo TEAGUE? Which model is it Bro?

if you look under the butterfly there is a number, the model number, from there it would be easy to find out what it is :)

Have you guys all been remembering to write something on the piece of paper?

Model 10200 Ambush... :) Had to use the scope we have for checking circuits to read it.... damn small! :)

Paper? what paper... you mean that wasn't firestarting materials..

Yup, wrote something in my very own chicken scratching, thou I did have to asked the 13 year old to spell some of the words for me.....

Yes! It's a 10200 Mel Pardue Ambush. I also wrote on the paper. Did you see the old trapping book I put in? Here's my picture of the actual knife:

BTW I also put in two other knives and some other stuff. The SAK has a lanyard on it that I also tied.

SHHHHHHHHHHHHH you gonna ruin the surprise :)

I did briefly look over the books and such, but honestly, with my schedule, I didnt have a lot of time to go thru things and get them moving forward again... I figured I would see what was in the box when it got back to Dylan, and if the books or such was still there, I could ask to borrow them... :)

MrCoffee Nice knife!!!! That was a sweet giveaway Teague!! I also wrote something on the note. This was a lot of fun, we'll have to start another one when this is over.

this is a awesome idea as a whole. hopefully next time i will get in on it as i have a lot of stuff to pass around also
