Is that urban gray? I'm ready to order a CG but can't decide on combo. It doesn't show on Busse site what jungle green or desert sage looks like. Everything else (handle colors are all there. As are Black and Urban Gray blade finishes) Someone quick please please please post up or link some photos of these combination's for me. Looking to do Black Canvas Handles (I could change my mind on that but pretty set on handle) for blade fish I don't want black, and I know what Urban Gray looks like, but can't decide between Urban Gray, and Jungle Green and Desert Sage. http://www.bussecombat.com/blades/index.shtml There not shown. So please post pictures I'm doing this tonight. OH and of course I am also getting an LE no worries there.
 
That is sage. The grey is well more grey. You can also check pics in the for sale section on this forum. Lots of pics with different finished there.

DbT, those in that pic are desert sage w/ black micarta handles. here's a few other Busse's in the colors you've asked for. :)

Another desert sage w/ black micarta (Game Warden)... Not the best pic as it almost looks like UG here. :o

BTW... This pic from the Busse Combat website is of a NMFBM in desert sage with tan canvas micarta. The red background seems to fool the eyes into seeing it as an almost pinkish color, but it is the same desert sage coating as in my pix below, and the ones below that. This color coating has the unique ability to appear slightly different in different types of lighting. :thumbup:

Well I am floored by the quick responses. You guys are awesome:thumbup: I have to say that I am surprised by the looks of the black handles desert sage blade. I'm not to impressed by it anymore. It is cool looking but wow those other color combination's are amazing. I don't though. Jaxx looking at those pictures I like the Desert Sage blade on some of those pictures such as the one with the tan handle (although that combination is to desert looking for me), but on the first picture with the black handles the combination looks bluish or urban gray. OK the second to the last picture with the two FFBMs on the wooden rail. I can see that now. I'm liking the desert sage blade on that one and can almost imagine the black Micarta on it. Jungle green would look cool with tan handle. Or desert sage with black and tan handles except I have reservations on that combo as the handles look to whitish to me. Is there any practical reason to go with G10 handles? I mean besides looks are they more durable or something? They are $85 more. I have settle on my decision and will order in an hour but hoping to see some more responses. Any more pics would be great but you guys have been a big help.
 
I went with standard Blk/Blk.

I'm kind of basic on some things and since I can only have one, I got black.

Besides, black goes with everything. :D

The micarta handles look different when wet or oiled -- much darker, with more intense color. Even unoiled, the handles darken and deepen in color with handling. Thought you should know.

I'd be interested to know how many of these were sold and if there were as many sold as the FBM or FFBM. I don't suppose sales figures are released for models though.
 
The FBM was available on the website for many months.. there is going to be far fewer NMFBMs in the wild.
 
I got an LE and a Black Micarta/Desert Sage. Thanks for info on Micarta. I like the character it has over the G10.
 
I got an urban Grey with a black canvas handle. I'm thinking of getting a black Chuddy Bear sheath with a dangler. Sounds good no?
