Haha, not so much a collection as confiscations from airports that I bought secondhand for this thread. Who knows, some people might just be reclaiming their long lost knives!:D

Thats awesome! I have had a few things confiscated at airports but never a knife. In another country far from here LMAO I thought i was going to be hung until dead for having a keychain of a fake bullet, it looked decent but wasnt a real replica of a bullet even, just a piece of metal shaped like one and not to perfect scale... They were not happy about that one bit... Not exactly sure what they were saying, but they were yelling it loud and fast LMAO after they tried to unscrew something that was never designed to come apart for over 10 minutes they just took it and sent me on my way!! I guess they thought it was a stash hideaway or something, i couldnt understand the language, but i could understand they were not happy by the body language lmao

The star garnets are interesting, 3 months to tumble polish, then 4-6+ hours to cut and polish each stone.
Those are some really hard and tough stones! But I do love mining and cutting them!

Well obviously you were stashing a smaller, real bullet inside the fake one to go with the ceramic gun in your carry-on.

Are you cabing them or faceting them I have a Taurus faceting machine, but don't use it much

Awesome. Send me an email to the gmail in my bio with your address and I'll send it out.

All SAKs are spoken for! I'll try to find something else to put up later.

Jim, I do cabbing as well as faceting. The star garnets dont look too good faceted, they are too dark and the star only shows up on a curved
surface. I have a facetron and will be getting a facette soon. being able to cut stones really makes my job as a jeweler fun when I build a
custom piece for a customer. We like to use the term, "From mud to mounted jewelery"!

Someone wanted the BM clip (awhile back), I offered mine if yours was gone and he didnt respond, I don't know if he's found another or what.

My dad had a Facetron but he lost it when his shop blew up (long story). By the time I got interested in it he was getting too old and 1500 miles away to help me.

I love my facetron, i had the head rebuilt and a dial indicator put on at the factory, and it was like having
a new machine!

Ill take that benchmade. I'd love a good combo blade!

Remy you'll absolutely love the 555, without a doubt my favorite knife of all time (well i have a newer 555(HG) but still). A great knife for a great guy, you deserve it sir.

RemyKaze, it is yours! I got your PM, going to try to ship it today. If you can take some pics with it in use and post them in the thread. Enjoy it!
