anyone need a factory synthetic sheath for the 7" KaBar knives? I got a two-for-one deal awhile back and while my NG D2 rides in one of them, the second is new and doing nothing but collecting dust and cluttering my "unused sheath box".

That sheath also works with the busse TGLB, Chopweiler and Ratweiler and more lol, it can fit a nice amount of different knives!!

My absolute favorite knife, the Chopweiler, is riding in a kabar BK7 sheath until it has a leather sheath made for it. I try my best and re-purpose sheaths or barter for them, just look at my sig LMAO

Good God! Catch a cold, lie low for a little over a day, and look what the heck happened! Almost 1350 posts, and no signs of stopping! I never saw that coming when I posted the first post. What a great group of folks. Please, one thing I ask is to keep the rules like they have been. Counting gives and receives and favoring gives based on that or anything besides first come will ruin this thread. Too much judgement passed on who got what will kill the spirit of this. Otherwise, keep this going. It has me smiling from ear to ear! Btw, giving is better than getting.

This was one heck of a thread you made and it was a great idea. As long as people can follow the rules which should be no problem since it seems that almost everyone on here is a generous person. This thread has exploded and it really opens your eyes and lets me at least know that there are still great people in this world. When I am finished I think I will just give away one of my handmade knives to a lucky member.

That would be awesome, you would make someone's day!

Thanks anyway Paul. I'm sure I can pick up a rare earth magnet pretty cheap. My brother might actually have some even.

I'm a new guy here and I just discovered this thread-it blows me away that everyone is being so generous-it's infectious! I don't have any nice knives to give and I'm only in the process of making my first knife but I do have something that may be of interest (hopefully!) to somebody. I have a few back issues of Primitive Archer magazine. For anybody interested in hunting with traditional equipment or making their own archery equipment, these are perfect! 5 issues from 2000 and 2001. Thanks for starting this awesome thread and keep it going!

I started a trade thread and im tryin to sell off a nice watch in the exchange just so i can get into archery LOL I blame some of it on you guys LMAO

Gotta admit, I was looking at bows and info way to hard yesterday....went so far at to figuring out what my pull length should be.

My brother made some PCV bows for his daughters last winter. I don't know if it was just me, the bow or all the beer, but man those things are incredibly difficult to aim...

I wont lie, aside from all the hype about these knives I read, I don't know much about them (including the different sizes they come in)...maybe something in the 3" range?

OK Lee D,I have a #6 I could offer up.
It has a 3 5/8" handle(including the bolster) & 2 7/8" blade.About as big as I want in a pocket knife personally.
It didn't come with a lock ring & is carbon steel.
I sanded off the top rear of the handle & added an easy open notch then added the stippling with a soldering iron for grip.

I'd like to offer it to you first for giving the Bussee the other day,but if you don't want it no prob, someone probably will.;)

Well I haven't won anything yet here but I'll keep my eyes open. In the meantime, I'll give. I don't know who, if anyone, is interested, but I have the 31st edition of "KNIVES" (2011). It's a 312 page book about knives. Can there be anything better (besides 312 knives)? I've gotten lots of enjoyment out of it and its fun to read when you have free time (and don't worry kids, lots and lots of pictures ;) ) anyone wants it it's yours. No charge (originally $30). It's in excellent shape. PM me or just reply and or quote this. Thanks guys!
