The one knife you went back to.

This is what I have left, after selling a few of them.

There's only two knives I've ever bought a second of...

Spyderco Military. My first exp. was a pass around black on black in s30v, I immediately bought the same knife but never fell for it and unloaded it, then I decided to get a sprint in 204p and I absolutely love it.

Next was a BM555 in D2, now I love the 555 in general and have had numerous but after the newness of each wore off it would see less and less use till I decided I could do without it and gave them away / sold them. Eventually I came across a red one w/ D2 blade and since D2 is one of my favorite steels of all time I picked it up and boy or boy I couldn't be happier to get one back!

I do miss several other knives, mostly my BM 710 but the recurve blade makes me unwilling to buy another user (I do have a ebay alert setup for a gold class 710 just in case).

Lol, thought the same thing. I'm not a grammar freak, but I also don't like being dizzy.

I always come back to the Military. I've bought and sold about 5 of these. Number 6 is on its way Monday.
It's a super handy size! You would think that the excess handle is an annoyance but it's not! It kinda lends itself to having extra real estate which in turn allows you to grip it in all sorts of ways plus it doesn't feel that big in the pocket.

Practically what I look for in a knife.
Some times I think the handle is MORE important than blade shape or steel.
the handle (shape) is MORE important than . . . steel

Gulp . . .
. . .
. . . did I just say that ?

OHHHHHooooooohhhhhh I'm so confused . . .
WAIT
no I'm not I like long, maybe curved folder handles in a pocket EDC knife . . . CS Voyager Large in my hand right now (well a couple moments ago) and you know what ? I liked it. I liked it.

Can't wait to get my first Milli.

I like being a newbie in this hobby . . . SO much to look forward to. Being a poor bastard turns out to be perfect . . . I can't buy all I want so this is going to go on for a Loonnnnnng time.

Milli huh ?
Did they make a D2 ?
I have never had D2 either.

In terms of folder (not flipper) EDC: Spyderco PM2. Having acquired a finer taste for more exotic alloys, I have been paying more and search with more zeal to acquire sprint run PM2s in a variety of super alloys, but setting aside my snobbish "tude, about a Buck and Twenty or so for a new (less for one on the Ex by about 20%) one with satin S30V as a starter level would also be fine by me. Not the MOST perfect folder but if you sum up all the pros and the cons, it will stack up right up there as one to have.

Also, the above can be said about their Milli iteration if the right hand and the tip up position with liner lock does not phase you out. The PM2 gives me less hot spots than the Milli all else being equal, but that's under working with your knives plus I have M+ / L- sized hands.
