I thought I had several answers for this thread, but the more I think about it, no, there are none that I truly regret not buying when I had the opportunity.
Some candidates that at one time I wanted, let pass by, at one time regretted, but in full retrospect don't regret now:
So yes, there were a few here and there that I let get away, but nothing really worth shedding a tear over today.
Some candidates that at one time I wanted, let pass by, at one time regretted, but in full retrospect don't regret now:
- GEC Northfield 06 Pemberton - passed on it because at the time I thought $90 was too much for a beefier version of a Peanut.
- GEC 48 single blade SS with Elk - I ended up getting a 2-blade in amber bone instead and I'm happy with that one, but who knew SS would become such a rare thing from GEC?
- GEC 12 Toothpick in second cut stag that sat on the CK web site for ages unsold, since I am a fan of the 12 pattern and it was a good looking knife at a good price. However, I have three 12s and only carry one of them, so it would just end up another knife in a tube on the shelf.
