Have been dealing with some personal issues lately, that's one of the reason why I have not been around.
So----my take on this thread is----any axe, hatchet, adze in my tool box, that will be for sale. Most likely, I am going to finally do the sale some time early 2020. My situation now dictates that my sale list is going to be much bigger than I first thought.
What I would really like to do is put them up for bid first here on the axe forum, that way everybody (except one guy) here has an equal chance. I dont know if this idea is even doable on the forum. I am very sure I dont have the skill, hell, I can't even post pictures! May have to use a ebay contract seller, like I did a few years ago. Open to suggestion on this. I now must do this.
Blue Sasq. No help available here on the big island of Hawaii. I brought everything with me from the mainland. I am getting a lot of offers of help from you guys, thanks. Still trying to figure this out. I hope to at least have a written listing to post some time in January, 2020.

I am sad to have let this one slip away from me last night. It was mislabeled in the auction as a “fire axe from the 1800’s”. But it was actually a Gifford Wood co., House Ice Axe. Not like the little ice axes that were used to cut small blocks off of the big blocks on the wagon for peoples ice boxes. These were used in the warehouses for cutting the large blocks.

I should have stayed up a little later and bid a little more.![]()
What axe do you most regret NOT getting?
Haha funny. That is some interesting stuff though just yesterday I found myself wondering where the February episode of Operators podcast was. And I am one of I’m sure many here who are interested in seeing your axes.Operator1975- Mike, I tried to respond to your request back in Nov. in my profile. But, as I said many times, I am a cluck with computer stuff, so I probably screwed it up.
The answer is yes, I will do a telephone interview with you. If you have a way to get my personal email from Square Peg without making it available to the wack jobs (see above post) then we can make it happen.
For those that asked about my axes, I think I am a little closer to getting a ebay contractor seller lined up.
