Spyderco Military (OG Liner-lock version) is the one I cant live without.

This is a picture of my rotation drawer. The row of Spydercos are my almost every day carry blades. The middle row is my “random carry”. The top row are my slipjoints infrequently carried, but I love a stockman and I love a lionsteel slip joint, so when the occasion calls for something small and lockless, itll be one of those. There may be 75-100 other knives in my basement that almost never get carried. My fixies are there too.

I focused on more premium (for me), US made knives this year. I was a first time customer of McNees, Spartan, Hinderer, CRK, and Les George. They all immediately became the nicest knives in my modest collection and I enjoy them all. Below is a pic of my strong favorite.

A Barlow slipjoint. Might not always be what I carry, but it was my first real knife and I don’t wish to ever be without one.

Okay, this was a mental inside-out for me. I was thinking about this as the usual "one knife" kind of thread.

Operating under Bill's clearly superior reasoning, it would be my Camillus Electrician. There's pictures around somewhere....

Only one knife it would have to be my Yoshikane Gyuto SKD 210mm (8.25"), because I need to eat. Even though I own way too many knives including folders, fixed and kitchen, I could get by with this if it was the only one. This tool steel holds an edge for a long time, it is small enough for most every food prep but still holds it's weight for tough things as well. It also has no problem opening boxes which what most of my folders do.
