The one you want but never order

Microtech nemesis, every time i save up enough for one, some ridiculous deal that i just cant pass up ruins it for me.

Both of mine have already been called out: Spyderco Military and Case Swayback Jack. Those two can't seem to make it out of the shopping cart -and yet I somehow also managed to order a Dodo, for which I will have no use...

Thats not a problem, just send that dodo over to me and I will make good use of it. For me it was the translucent blue manix.

-Large Sebenza
-Spyderco Street Beat
I have wanted both for a long time, I just never end up putting the cash down

Bob Lum Benchmade Tanto with M4... I have no reason to get or carry but my bones are craving an m4 tanto by bob lum. I can get it at 160 but still...

Fallkniven A1 - - - - to use up in the mountain backcountry while hunting, backpacking, and doing other outdoor tasks. With a blade close to 6 1/2" its longer than what I usually use for these applications. The price has gone up over the years and at $180 its not cheap. I've never had the opportunity to see one up close and to hold it. The handle on my Fallkniven S1 is a little shorter & thinner than I'd prefer for its blade length, especially if wearing gloves. I'm reluctant to order an A1 blind and get a knife with a handle I don't like. Like other 'knife knuts' I have other knives on my Want List, so have been holding off on the A1. The other knives have everday uses and the A1 would be used primarily up in the mountains so I've held off for that reason too. I really need to get one in my hands first.

Used to be the Sway Back Jack for me too. Finally got one last week, and it is amazing. The one benefit of waiting is that I decided to get the blade engraved with Bobus X, and it looks as good as I would have hoped.

Now that I got that, it has to be the BM 940. That knife has ended up in my shopping cart at least a dozen times over the last couple of years, and somehow I never punch out and do it. Now that I finally decided it was gonna be my next knife, bam there goes a Special one off M4 Carbonfiber BM 950, to delay my chance another 6 months.

Moki Ares in crimson jigged-bone
Chambriard Le Theirs Compagnon in juniper
Al Mar Eagle Ultralight
Spyderco Bob Lum Tanto

That'd be the Ritter MK1 Bob. I need it. The other three dozen knives don't do what it does.:p

No, no, no. You're supposed to say, "Now that I have my Chestnut Sway Back Jack with CV blades, my every knife wish is fulfilled. I can't imagine ever desiring another pocket knife, so well does the Sway Back Jack meet my every need, practical and existential."

Like that.

(Mine's due here on Thursday. :friendly_wink:)

Hah. That is a very generous offer, GB. I will keep it in mind when I receive my... lychee peeler?
:D

Anything by Bark River. Too worried about getting an expensive knife with chipping or poor fit issues , although I've seen many people happy with them. Really nice designs though.

Oh god... there's so many....
Paramillitary 2
Sway back jack
Another manix 2
Benchmade Rift
Bradley mayhem
Boker mosier
Rat 7
RTAK 2
BK 2
And others :)

It's a SOG Trident or Super Bowie for me.

Love the classic look. But everytime I get ready to pull the trigger, I remind myself that they are made in Taiwan and how I wish I got a Seki one back in the day. Maybe someday...
