I managed to get my hands on one but it's a little rusty after sitting in my uncles garage for a long time. Any advice on how to clean off rust, paint, and putty?
 
WD-40 and a scotch brite pad or brass wire bruss are a good start. If real rusty, naval jelly.
 
Before you start drop it in a small pail of kerosene. I've used that for years to free up
old pocket knives. Then the cleaning can start.
