Looks like you did a great job on it. Really nice looking!I’m not a fan of satin finish bolsters and wood. I have polished this one by taking through the paces. 400-600-1000-1500-2000 sandpaper. Followed by 3000-5000-8000 3M pads. Then I hand wash the entire knife with soap and water. Then air dry while open. Then a bath in Balistol oil and let it dry some more on a paper towel. I do like the way the transitions from the wood to the bolsters have been totally smoothed, which make it nice to rub your fingers against.

That #29 pic is really nice.I love osage. It is beautiful wood, hard, durable and practically indestructible. I've made bows from osage fence post that had been in the ground for over 65 years.
