The Osage Orange

I’m not a fan of satin finish bolsters and wood. I have polished this one by taking through the paces. 400-600-1000-1500-2000 sandpaper. Followed by 3000-5000-8000 3M pads. Then I hand wash the entire knife with soap and water. Then air dry while open. Then a bath in Balistol oil and let it dry some more on a paper towel. I do like the way the transitions from the wood to the bolsters have been totally smoothed, which make it nice to rub your fingers against.
