you can also get wooden three foot handles directly from Cold Steel, unless they are out - they don't always feature the handles in their catalogues.

as a matter of fact, sometimes they look an awful lot like Waxwood - really pretty tough for the money.

I was kinda thinkin of a CS Norse hawk with a 2 1/2 to 3 foot handle for de-zombifying purposes. They seem to have taken over Myrtle Beach to the north and Charleston to the south, so I'm kinda sandwiched here in Georgetown.:eek:
 
Myrtle Beach alone is reason enough! har!

my gentle suggestion is to sharpen the lower beard on the Norse or the Plainsman about an inch in - two inches for zombies.

too bad there is no .50 caliber straw on those wood handles, that's too bad. :D
