The Other White Meat (The Production Sowbelly)

Case 2012 Rancher Sowbelly CV in Burnt Stag

Note, the Rancher has the sheepfoot nick on the mark side, otherwise the same pattern.

Really love the layout of the nicks on that one! And CV to boot:thumbup:

Yes, but my two are single blade:

and

which started out just like the one you show above. I guess you'd call it a modified production knife now.

I know there are a couple of sunset winterbottom bone models by others on the forum, but I'll let them post a picture.

Sitflyer, I knew I'd seen a sowbelly trapper somewhere, but couldn't think of who made it. That's pretty fine if you ask me.!!

I have a fondness for sowbellys! I only have this one so far but the pattern has just the right curves and blade angles.

Here's my Case "Harvest Orange" Sowbelly, a picture from October:

Sowbellies are sweet!

beautiful knives in this thread
heres mine 2001 Vintage bone Case Sowbelly...it's like a porky stockman, and to my hand one of the more comfortable patterns my only gripe is they dont have one in CV... really never thought i'd take to the pattern, but i did:D
cheers

ps this one is vampiric too, got me good while slicing an onion, wicked cut on my left pointer finger, got a scar to remind me to pay attention next time:D

I don't know if you mean that Case doesn't have a sowbelly out in CV or they don't have that handle material out in a sowbelly with CV. They do now produce a sowbelly in CV, but it has the yellow handles.

I have two, but have an eye on the Moore Maker sowbelly moose too :D

The popular Case cranberry bone:

and a stag Schatt and Morgan, which I got when I couldn't find the brownberry worrmgroove version like Peter Parker's.

Here is my sowbelly. I try buying and carrying different knives but this single blade knife seems to be in my pocket almost everyday. Very slim and it has Tony Bose's initials on the back. Hard to beat that. I dyed the winterbottom jigged bone a dark brown/rootbeer color since this pic was taken. Will post a pic when I get a chance to go outside and the sun is out. Nathan
