Hey guys -
Here's the deal. You know how Microsoft has been having problems with their websites over the last few days? Well, it turns out that there was a pretty big security flaw in BIND, which is essentially the "white pages" of the internet.
BIND is a nameservice protocol that is used by the vast majority of hosts out there. So, when Microsoft found a big problem with it, an emergency patch was issued. Leading, naturally, to the recent outage because our host screwed up the record conversion for BladeForums.com
Anyhow, long story short - it wasn't us, we're good to go, and everyone laugh at Microsoft for using Linux / Unix nameservers instead of their own WinNT
