This is The Pacifier. I forged it several years ago, and it immediately become my favorite for long time But you know, to be someones favorite is quite uncertain position.
Times are changing favorites too.
In this knife I put more work than usual. I hope you to like the result.
Blade - 122 layers hand forged Damascus. For cutting edge I have laminated high carbon instrumental steel 52 100. Zone hardened. 59 - 60 HRC after tempering.
Handle Bone corian \carved\, american maple burl and acacia. The color of the acacia is like this, because it's gone through treatment with extremely hot steam and high pressure for a period of nearly 3 days. \decking technology \ Separators bronze and black fiber.
The sheath is made of bone corian and acacia.
