The pain of losing a favorite EDC.

It is like a phantom pain of a severed limb, it never goes away. The sooner you find a new one, the shorter the suffering.

The pain of losing a favorite EDC

...is surpassed only by the joy of having it returned. - Hang in there, it may happen, as I know from personal experience.

I am sorry for your loss. I understand the pain.
I “lost“a small sebbie, a marathon watch and an HDS light all in the same 15 minute period. Needed to take a bit of a ride in an ambulance and wouldn’t you know my edc gear didn’t make the trip! Guessing the only reason my G19 found its way back was that a police officer at the scene secured it.
Anyway to this day I always buy a spare of anything I will leave the house with, guns knives flashlights watches etc…..
I hope it turns up for you.

I always cut up my furniture before I throw it away. Metal gets scrapped, wood is burned, upholstery goes on the trash. It saves me from buying a sticker to get rid of it.

Anyway, you’d be amazed at the stuff that falls out.

That sucks. I just finished sharpening my fluted Military with a 204P blade swap if that makes you feel better. I "lost" it for bit under the junk on my desk. I'd give it a month before really giving up.
