Hello my dear friends,

Due to a car accident i was off the forums for some time but now thanks Good God i am feeling well and am back in business.
I am honored to present to you our last creation - 'Parrot 2' slipjoint which i really do hope you will enjoy!

Lets see what's this all about:

The blade itself is made using the 26c3 (spicy white) high carbon steel and is a sheepsfoot design. I hand grinded and hand sanded it to 600 grit for a nice and classy look - although it takes quite a lot of time to do it this way i really love the longitudinal fine marks which in my humble opinion are the mark of a classy knife :)
All 'edges' were nicely finished and buffed for a smoot action and nice look from all angles.

The handle is made using our usual setup with a hand milled tough, whole piece of chocolate micarta for the 'frame' and an exclusive and superb piece of custom hand made green resin infused carbon fiber. Everything was hand sanded and nicely buffed. A new 'feature' for this particular one are the hidden pins which were not very easy to fit but i myself fully enjoy the final clean look - of course it matters not what i thin but what you, my dear friends will think ;)
The fittings (pins and pivot) are solid brass while the screws are black coated steel.

Overall the knife measures app 7.2" (opened) with an app 3.15" blade. The knife sits flush in all three positions and is centered.

It is a very light and pleasant knife to hold and wear adding no burden to your pockets. It comes with a nice handmade leather slipcase made by my lovely wife.

It's beautiful Bogdan! Let me tell ya folks you will not be disappointed with this man's work. Having bought "Parrot 1" I can attest to his skill and artistry. The knife I received is flawless in fit and finish. Crisp lines and a strong rock solid pull and snap. Don't let the elegant look fool you into thinking the knife may not hold up to use. Although I confess it will remain pristine.:)
Bogdan is a pleasure to do business with and a real gentleman.

Got into contact with BogdanS BogdanS after his last offering to place an order for one of his customs and everything you guys have said about him so far is right on, then his accident happened. First I’m glad he‘s doing well and he has already been in touch about the build. I thought he would be done in mid to late summer but was told mine was his next project. I couldn’t be happier with his communication on this and a picture of his wreck, I’m just glad he is doing well after seeing it. All this from across the pond, I’m really looking forward to seeing what he comes up with. I’ll be posting pictures when it arrives.

Thank you, thank you so much everyone my good friends! I am indeed honored to see you vouching for our humble work - you are so nice and kind!

Have a great week ahead!

All and only the best, God bless,
Bogdan

Thank you very much my good friends for being so nice and kind! :)

woodysone woodysone - i just HT (clay hardened) the blade of your folder today dear brother and it took a very nice hamon which i think will look quite 'dramatic' when etched ;)

If this Parrot will stay a little longer on my bench i might adopt it for myself and i would have done it in a blink of an eye if i could afford it :D

All the best brothers, God bless,
Bogdan

Thank you for putting the extra effort on my blade BogdanS BogdanS , I’m really glad that I didn’t get wip pictures as I’m sure that the final product will blow my socks off.😉

I like surprises too Martin. 😋 Rather not see the WIP photos.
Ray now I wish you didn’t post your pictures of your past BogdanS BogdanS blades, it’s going to be hard not to commission something like that dagger, beautiful piece! Any chance to get a picture while I wait for my folding creation?🤗
