The perfect Emerson?

Thanks for all the great responses guys... I think I've settled on the Commander. How do you guys feel about the black finish (does it hold up well)? Am I better with the Stonewash or are they about the same in terms of "scratchability"?

Framelock, Chisle ground, CQC8. That would be the perfect emerson imho. However, for the ones currently in production, I like the CQC13 and CQC8 series out of all the emersons.

I have a few emersons and the 8 is my fav. It is a perfect combo for slashing and thusting. Its kinda a combo of a drop point, spear point, bowie. Its primarily designed for tactical but anything tactical with a belly like this will also work great as a utility. I think any knife designed for tactical will serve for utiility purposes but any thing designed for utility will not necessarily work as a tactical.

the '8 is a good all around model, i edc'd my surefire '8 for quite a while and was always happy with it, i also carried a custom '8 some.
