Perfect? Yeah, I know it's subjective, but I'm really digging my new Laconico. 3.5" blade. 1/8" stock. A tad over 8" long. Like everything Ray makes, it's utterly flawless. Fits my hand so nice! I can't imagine a knife getting much better than this in this size range.

Went on a little hike with the family and was finally able to get some glamour shots of the knife in the outdoors.

i picked up one of his stout camp knives and its a great blade. fit and finish is top notch. it fits your hand like he made them for you. sheaths are very nicely made also. i've been using it for household chores and am really really digging it.

congrats on a nice blade

Looks pretty perfect to me  But then gain, all of Rays knives do :D

Good to see you finally got to use it! Thanks for posting the pics. Thanks to all for the kind words.

I have to add that this was not my design. Wildwinds drew it and I did my best to make it just like his drawing. I think he did a great job with the design.

no jimping though on the rear of the blade for your thumb, some would say you need it. to be honest I never really notice it...

Okay, that's true, but I cheated and used the handle design from one of your knives and the blade from another one and put them together to make this one. :)

Nice knife!

Ray does make a great knife.

I have one with a similar handle and four inch blade.

I like the overall thinness of the knife and sheath together .... I can slip it in my pocket and hardly tell it's there.

Thanks again guys!

One other thing about this knife that hasn't been mentioned- This knife was the prize he won for getting first place at our shooting competition last May.
