Hi Folks and mostly Spyderco sub-forumites!

I'm in a hotel in Boston right now getting ready for a big event tomorrow. But I'm also elated that I won a GAW hosted by Barman1...

As a PIF for this blessing I'm going to do the same but in a more cheapo capacity. Roflmao. Sadly for you guys I went through a bunch of higher end Spydercos this summer and realized that I like the FRN Spydercos best! So I ended up selling the ones that I had in carbon fiber.

In all seriousness, I am very grateful for the fun times on bf and the fact that there are other mostly normal knife nutters out there.

The other piece of the PIF is just shameless Spyderco plugging. They manufacture damn good knives for all budgets. Out all the ones that I have owned they all have in them to be true users and wonderful tools. That's why Spyderco is my very favorite pocket knife maker.

But without anymore yapping let's get this GAW going. In honor of Barman1's GAW... The winner of this GAW will get to choose one one of my user Spydercos which I regularly rotate for my carry and cutting needs.

Choice number 1 is a well used but with plenty of life in it Blue Delica 4
Choice number 2 is a carried but in near new condition UK Pen Knife
Choice number 3 is a used in my garden this past summer budget line Byrd Cara Cara 2 in combination edge.

EDIT: I suppose this will be my entry, even though we all know that the more responses the least likely it is a low number like number 2 will be chosen. Oh well. Thanks for including everyone in this GAW cchu518!! Congrats to the future winners!!

EDIT#2: Spyderco was the knife that got me into tactical knives. I had two Enduras that I bought in 93-94, I liked them but I abused them becuase I had to (thats another story) and they were both fully serrated blades. I found that the serrations just didn't cut the things I needed to cut the most very well, so after broken tips on both I just let them hang in drawer for the last 18 to 19 years or so. I recently gave them to another BF member who was/is supposed to give one of them away here in this forum, but he has not done so at this time. I dunno, maybe I'm just impatient to see them come up in a GAW, I don't know why though. Anyway, I recently got back into folders (having used fixed blades for a long time) and I really like the offerings of Spyderco.

Shoot you know what...I'm going to let open it to everyone its early enough to change the rules. All in all the GAW is in the spirit of giving back to BF and promoting Spyderco!

So the GAW is open to anyone with over 45 posts from the time of their entry. Your post is your entry!
