The Porch Has the Finest People Anywhere

What a great story - wow! Bob you're one of the great ones here yourself, so nobody deserves it more than you do. Kudos to all and I agree, this forum is just outstanding. The friendship and thoughtfulness here have never been exceeded anywhere else on the web. What beautiful knives! Bravo! :D

Good stuff Paul! Thanks for looking out for Bob and his grandson.

54 has another great association here in MA. The Massachusetts 54th Regiment Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry was one of the first African American fighting Regiment in the Army. They fought fiercely in the US Civil War.

Bob you are one of the finest citizens on the Porch and a pillar in our knife community. Everyone is just showing their appreciation for you. Well deserved my friend.

Thanks for all the kind words folks. The fact is, most of these guys have been here and have been doing these acts of kindness long before I came along. ;):D:thumbup:

A big thumbs-up for Bob and all involved.   Your generosity and warmth are a huge part of what makes the Porch one of my favorite places to spend time.

The fact that the Porch is a great place in founded on the fact that people who make it up are just wonderful people.

This porch is a fine place to be. Wonderful knives and other gifts. Blessings to all. You folks are the best.

Amazing gifts guys, you all rock! Bob, I am very happy to learn you and yours are Patriots fans. I moved to the Seattle area from the Northeast and it is very hard to be out here sometimes in (newly made) enemy territory. I have 2 Jerseys myself, my Wilfork that I've had forever (and still love that guy) and my new Gronk lol. Another great patriot. I was just talking to my friend from home yesterday saying I wish I had a Welker Jersey. And a Randy Moss. A Bruschi is right up there too, he was amazing! Thanks again, porchmen and ladies, for making my day

Just outstanding folks here:thumbup: no matter what type of day I've had I can always count on the porch to turn it into a positive. Bob I hope your having some good days and even better ones to come.
