Another Thanks gentlemen.
Yes, Mark sprung for the Pro photos from the show photographer Chuck Ward. Thanks again Mark!
BTW Chuck Ward is a walking miracle. He's lost over 50 pounds to save whats left of his 80% blocked arteries. He worked a few more pounds off at the show. He's a vegan now and has a fighting chance.
The Little Rock Show is amazing. The judging was done by my peers, fellow knife makers only. Every table holder got a ballot to fill out and everybody including the collectors present enjoyed viewing up close and personal each knife. What a good idea, after all who knows more about knives than the makers and the collectors?
A more enthusiastic atmosphere I have never seen before. There are other advantages of judging this way too, each knife was on the makers table at shows opening. Man was it busy, too dang busy to take knives off the tables and put them into a room away from the masses. Ive never talked to so many fine folks either.
Meeting folks from these forums was really nice. I dont want to even try to name them all for fear of forgetting somebody but thanks you guys for introducing yourself and stopping by my table. I didnt get around to see most of the show and regret that. Usually Sunday is good for that but the public kept us all busy even on Sunday.
