Besides being passable smiths the kamis are also excellent cooks. When they cooked the goat at Bishwakarma puja while I was in Nepal last Pala pronounced the meal "the best I ever had." I don't go for the spices all that much so Kumar roasted some goat ribs over his forge for me and they were very tasty.
