Today, I was doing the classic North Carolina thing: sitting on the front porch with a beautiful view of the mountains, whittling trap triggers, when Mr. Postman drives up and I see him slip two packages into the mailbox. Whoohoo! Guess what was in there?

I made that to acompany my marlin 336 with blackwalnut stock. Its D2 and made to be a user. Lightweight, slim yet handy and a tip yu can really get into things with. That blade pattern was meant to be a kitchen utlility but in the 1/8" stock it just screamed take me outside.
