The two new models now have names. The pointy stabby one is the Protoagonist, and the very large version of the Gambler and Rapscallion is the Forager. These pics are after rough shaping and the grinds are at 120 grit. They'll be finished by end of day today.

Sweet! Love the harpoon styling on the Protagonist and the Forager looks like it could be very useful.

Even though I am not normally a buyer of fighting style knives, I have to say that the Protagonist looks really good to me. The shallow flowing curves on the top and bottom of the handle profile look like they will provide a great blend of grip mobility and security. The swedged harpoon style blade shape just screams "fighting knife!"

Great job on the design Andy.

Once you've used your Glock, and the panik part of the engagement is over, you pull the Protagonist with a smile. Time for the fun part.

I love the Protagonist! Guns are just so damned noisy, and using them has always led to awkward conversations and stressful explanations...I'd prefer to just skip that part the next go round...if I can't just skip the next go round all together...
