noob question, can i add a vulcanized spacer or g10 spacer to an existiong scale/handle of the knife? thanks

You'd have to be able t remove the scales which is often impossible without damage. If you have removable scales you could theoretically sand the bottom of the scales, and glue on liners, bit you'd have to be careful to match the handle profile and finish it to the same grit as the knife/scale. And if you can do that then you also need to make sure that whatever fasteners are being used will have enough length to accommodate the extra thickness.

TL;DR it would probably be easier to make new handles from scratch then add liners on.
