The quest for "my" knife!

One of the flat ground sebenza that were produced in a limited number... :) I know where a few are if you need one.....

If you need the guard to prevent fingers slipping onto the blade, get a Sebenza. You won't slip onto the blade. If you need it to keep other knives away, maybe you should ask Ed Fowler where to get the Ray Appleton/Ed Fowler folder that's been on the front cover of Blade magazine i think in june or so. Prepare to bring TONS of money.

Thank you all.

Based on the responses, I will look at the following:
Al Mar SERE
The Classic Large Sebenza
Mission knives
Camillus EDC

Does anyone know where I can get that Wegner design pictured below?

I found the Titanium version with the regular liner lock on blade-tech.com, but I am really looking for the same knife with the integral lock. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

You need the Camillus EDC. If you can get your fingers to slide up onto the blade of this knife, then you should be using a saw.

The price is right, the fit and finish is awesome, the materials and design are top notch. You WILL NOT go wrong getting it. And if you get one and don't feel that it meets all of your criteria, I will buy it off you.

Better yet, there is an anniversary edition on this thread for 80 bux. Man have you got no excuses now.:D

I think a Darrel Ralph EDC meets all your requirements.
Choose your color, blade steel, clip placement, finish+other options (you can even get a DA).

I personally feel the new Sebenza with the grooves have much better ergonomics and grippability than the Classic.
