Hello everyone! I have been on this forum for a lot of my research and reviews, but this will be my first post. I would like to share a little back story that will lead up to my conclusion and a request for help. I was in the US Army when the team gemini light brigade was on sale at the bussecombat website and in my research of knives my most favorite knife was the team gemini v1 itself, but it was discontinued. I got stationed in Korea for two years then I came back to the states and finished out my time, and now I am a veteran. I was unable to purchase the TGLB because I could not have it shipped to Korea and I had no one in the states to have it shipped to while I was in Korea. Unfortunately, I have just recently looked on the bussecombat site and saw that the TGLB is no longer available, and what a sad day it was.Hopefully this thread would reach bussecombat or others that will be able to help me out. I would absolutely love to buy a TGLB knife in tanker gray with black G-10 handles as this is the only knife I will ever need and want in my life (for this type of knife category haha) and I am having trouble finding one. Your best bet is to just keep a sharp eye on the sale and trade section.
 
Unfortunately, I missed the TGLB train as well. I think they sold out just a few months before I started getting into Busse & kin. I had a chance at the BGTGs, but passed because I'd really prefer to have the LB treatment.

TGLBs pop up on the Exchange and the auction site fairly often, but they sell super quick if they're reasonably priced. I haven't managed to snag one at a price I can justify.

I hope the Bossman has it in his heart to either offer up another run of LBs or make the TGLB LE.

Heck, I'd also gladly jump on a BGTGLB :D
 
I also missed the TGLB as I only got into Busse and kin via Swamp Rat in May or June of 2015.

While it was still available at that point, I was enamored with (and still am;-) the Swamp and didn't buy my first Busse "proper" until
O2W began. Since then, the slope has been slippery and steep!

Note: I have a tgbg (another excellent knife in its own right) but it's just not the same...*sigh*

Your best bet as others have said would be to save a bit of cash and haunt the Exchange-they do show up fairly regularly
 
If you're interested in something 3 1/4 inches longer and don't mind SR-101, it might be worth e-mailing the shop to see if you can get on the list in case anyone backs out of a Team Gemini P BG

They were the February 10, 2016, O2W offering, and I'd expect them to start shipping within the next month or so.
 
Pretty much need to watch the sale section here. Like a hawk. When one pops up with a decent price, it's a mad dash to see who clicks first.

Thank you all for the input. I'm watching the exchange and hopefully the one I want pops up haha. @ JohntheTexican I looked at the knife you were talking about and I will be considering that as an option. I just can't settle when it comes to the TGLB 😂

2. I suggest calling or emailing Busse. You never know, they might have a few remaining, sitting around waiting for a buyer.

I don't know, but since it's G-10 anyway, I'd suggest just using it as is for a while and see how you like it. It will only be an aesthetic choice in handle color at that point, and you can call Busse and see.

Thank you for the information! This is my first time ever using a forum and I didn't know about the WTB section haha, and now I do!

Cheap fix, you might could just dye them black. don't know how well they would take dye but if it don't work you were goingto replace them anyway.
