The Quest for my Perfect and Dream Knife- TGLB

Congratulations on that score mate !! Black/Tan on Black or Tanker is pretty much my favourite Busse colour combo so that one *to me* is a winner !! I don't believe Busse are doing any custom work (handle changes outside of a warranty issue would be in that category) at the moment but I think once you have that beauty in hand you will find it grows on you !! If you really do want it changed out just watch for an announcement here about the CS opening back up.

Nice grab brother! I kept my K-BAR strapped to my hip the whole time I was in Iraq in '03. I'd have given my left...well...I mean I really would have liked to have been carrying a TGLB. Of course I don't think they were in existence in '03, but I'm sure Jerry made something I would have liked. I just didn't know about Busse back then.

Nice to see you were able to get what you were after so quickly. The black/tan and tanker looks great.

If you decide you don't like the black/tan handle, another option to getting the handles swapped would be creating a thread in the Trade section of the forum and also adding a signature stating what you have and what you want. You may have to buy a membership to add a signature, but it's well worth it and you get to support these awesome forums.

After you receive your TGLB, be sure to come back and let us know what Busse is next on your radar. :)

I have just posted on the WTB Knives section in the exchange for a battle mistress...Madness indeed! If I am unable to find the battle mistress that I want, my alternative choice is the ESEE Junglas! My TGLB has replaced my main knife...ESEE 5 heh heh heh. I will never sell my TGLB and I intend to use it, not let it sit around, for bushcraft, camping, survival, and self-defense needs. Absolutely happy with my purchase. Also the tan/black G10 handles are not bad, it will grow on me, but if I can get just plain black G10 in the future, I will be haha.
 
Any of the larger chopping oriented Busse blades will work great for you and are all more comfortable to use than the Junglass. I've had a couple of Junglass and I'd pick a thicker Busse any day and twice on Friday.
 
My junglas was the first to go when I got my first battle Rat, months before my first mistress.
