The quickest spyder?

Without a doubt it's my Chokwe!! I should carry it more than I do. It's a great knife.

This is exactly what I was going to say. A lot of people don't believe it, but to me it's equally smooth to the few Sebenza's I have handled. For a non-waved knife, it has to be quickest to deploy. Just the tiniest bit of pressure from the thumb and it flies open instantly. It is significantly smoother than my Gayle Bradley, Military, Sage 1 and 2, Para 2, etc. I was so shocked at the smoothness when I initially took mine out of the box, I immediate checked for play, because I thought that the pivot had to be excessively loose. Nope, just an extraordinarily smooth knife.

Respectfully disagree. A fixed blade would be faster since no grip adjustment is needed after deploying. :D

I don't think the OP had fixed blades in mind when asking this question. Obviously, a fixed blade is faster than a folder but what would the point be, in that case, of even asking? Clearly, the OP is asking about folders or else the Question wouldn't make much sense.

Lol,yes guys( folders)after posting the question I knew I should have thrown that word in there and knew eventually someone would throw in a fixed blade.Hey what the heck it's all in fun,I should have said other than waive models too since in a way they are assisted.Keep those posts and photos rolling of you're fastest Spyder.:o:)

Well, now that we've had an adjustment (no Waves and Fixed) then I will concur with others who have said the Chokwe. Some days I just touch my Chokwe and it deploys. The Chokwe and I are one.

Oh yeh, I understand. Just being facetious. ;)
