Hello all,
My first knife up on BF (not my first knife...first time selling on BF though.)
This is also...probably the biggest knife I've made so far and the first one with an S-guard

Some clarification on the specs etc.
The blade is around 11"
The handle in somewhere in between 5-6"
Blade is an old Heller Farriers Rasp. It's be re-heat treated and polished (by hand) to a nice shine.
Long swedge for looks on the clip.
The S-Guard is a forged to shape Nicholson file. The markings on the file can still be seen on the upswept portion of the file.
The Pommel is also from a Nicholson file. Both Guard and Pommel have been acid etched for a nice subdued look.
Handle spacers are Leather and black Micarta.
The tang goes all the way through the handle and is screwed into the handle with M6 cut threads. It is one piece with the blade.
The entire handle has been glued up for additional security.

The Sheath 3mm (1/8th") thick leather with a Stylized lightning bolt tooled into both sides.
The frog is seperate and can be turned around so that the sheath is good for carry on either side of the body.

I'd like $520 for this knife. That's with shipping from the Netherlands included.

Geez! you are a GENIUS! i would have never thought to use a file for the guard, butt cap (correct terminology?) and blade! Amazing man, sheath looks fantastic as well :)

Thanks Backyardcrafter. It worked out better than I thought I'll be doing it more often I think.

Thanks Curtis.
