No internet and lack of food towards the end of the vacation was about the only down sides to the trip. :D While I was down there I passed a couple of people holding a big black intertube with "River Rat" on the side, as soon as I saw that I started laughing. Also South Carolina, especially Mrytle beach, has some of the best looking waitresses I have seen. :thumbup:
 
Yes there are some hotties here. I used to go to Myrtle a lot, but lately I get a headache every time I go, what with the traffic and zombies and moronic tourists. Not implying that you're a moronic tourist, but we do get our share here. Glad you had a good time. My Izula arrived while you were on vacation:D:thumbup:.
 
I'm currently in Bristol, I wont be on until I finally make it home tomorrow. :D Aww home food, computer with spell checker and internet, and a nice quiet town.

Are you going to put a wrap on your Izula or just leave it bare?

I got a paracord wrap on it. Feels much gooder in the hand that way. I had considered stripping it, wrapping the grip in rawhide, and making a leather sheath for it, but I think I'm gonna leave it as-is for now. Great little knife. I cut up chickens with it yesterday and steak tonight. Gonna borrow my sister's digi camera tomorrow and put up some pics.

I only have 12 posts but their growing. I have 2 RATs, RC4 and Izula and I just placed my order for an RC5. Does that count for anything that may allow me to get in so I don't have to wait to make another 13 posts? :D

Hmm. Something worthwhile to say ...

I've had paracord on my Izula twice now, but keep taking it off. I can't make up my mind whether I prefer the added grip offered by the paracord, or the more compact package I have without the paracord.

Of course, it cuts great either way.:thumbup:

Also, I think the R.A.T. - 4 is best for woodswork. Just enough blade and yet quite compact.
