Epidemic by Deaden good stuff

O- yeah been one forever...... I had so many freaking Cd's ..800+ all metal, I got rid of most of the "bad ones per my wife" you know Deicide, morbid angel(satanic), Creamface and CBT,lividity,GUT etc. Porno gore grind... so I am down to about 350-400 cds... Dont get me Wrong I like Reba & Toby Keith too but something about heavy riffs and thick bass cuts and double blast of drums... Hmmmm....hmm Good !

LOL, I hear ya! For an island boy with a mixture of Chinese/Venezuelan in my blood, I get second looks from ppl when they see me in the rock/industrial section at HMV, or actually holding a conversation about the subject. I sold most of my vinyl when I moved back to TO in 87 but have since re-acquired quite a vinyl and cd collection. Everyone in my hi school (Gr 13) took me for a hip-hopper/house music lover when I first returned here in 87. By the end of the year most of them knew me for the saying "Funk is junk, Metal Rules!"
I listen to a lot more variety now, even enjoy R&B, Hip Hop, etc etc.
It's just funny, people's perceptions of others based on how they dress, etc.

Reminds me of a story a friend of mine who also migrated here from Trinidad back in the late 80s told me. He worked at a VW dealership and in a team meeting, the boss asked a trivia question about who was Ozzy's replacement in Black Sabbath after he left the band. None of the Caucasian employees could answer and everyone looked at him in shock when he answered "Obviously, that's Ronnie James Dio!". Keep in mind this was coming from a fresh off the boat Trinidadian of East Indian descent. It was too funny the looks they gave him!

Hey, I have over 25 posts. I should be a Rat Pack member.

(But I've never been to South America...)

(And I've never hung out in Las Vegas...)
