The real long range project

I like the blade grind very much too. The wrought iron fittings are also nice. Looks like it would feel good in the hand as well.

I was hoping to get a good picture of this knife in action cutting the cake but unfortunately I spotted the two kegs first so by the time the cake cutting started I was already toasted. I'm sure someone did get a good picture with the cake but both pictures I took weren't much more than a blur. Here's the best photo I got from the start of the service. I'd say my son Derrak made a great choice with his new bride, Jennie.

Did he use your knife for the cake? And was it this smaller one, or the short sword? I was hoping to see him standing at the altar with your sword at his side...

Eli, They did use the short sword on the cake but it was mostly pretend. There were a lot of camera's there so I'm sure someone got a good action shot of the sword in use. I'll be sure to post a picture as soon as I find one. It actually started to lightly rain the last few minutes of the service but it really didn't dampen anyone's spirits. The brides parents had a nice large tent set up where the reception was held. Everyone had a good time, not just me. My wife and I are officially "empty nester's". :D

Bruce, the preacher must have heard me say something after I discovered my arm was all wet after I stopped holding the flower girl. :D
 
I love that knife, the handle looks very comfortable and different. I particularly like the flow of the blade and the handle. The overall package looks great! I am sure they loved it.

Barrabacon, This piece was just on loan. I did make one of my famous temporary cardboard sheaths for this piece that they can keep. :D

Bruce, Not sure what the brides maid is looking at. The flower girl wasn't her daughter. The only thing KC the flower girl did wrong was wetting her pants while grand paw Ray was holding her. She knew I could handle it cause I'm a tough ol bird. :D
