i asked in the forums of victorinox.com.tw,and they said it is made of iron...
 
Yep, I bet they are made of iron. After all every steel is mostly iron, whether stainless or not. "Iron" is way too general, it could be wrought iron, cast iron, or an almost infinite number of steels, but I think it's probably some form of stainless steel (420 etc.) that they use on practically everything else they make.
 
Perhaps the meaning is lost in translation? :confused:
Whatever they are made of, I haven't had one rust yet.
