Hello dear friends,

With God's good will today i present you a new design meant to cover the 'classic' niche in our portfolio - the 'REEF' - a solid full size titanium frame lock with an sleek and classy look.

Built around a titanium 'core' this folder is a gorgeous cutter and a great looker.

An aluminium/vanadium alloy, Grade 5 TA6V titanium offers an excellent compromise between mechanical strength, toughness and ductility hence it was the choice for the frame of the folder.
The detent ball is high quality ceramic for an ever lasting smooth action without deformations.

All screws are precision machined Titanium and stainless steel, the stop and pivot pins are hardened, precision ground 400c stainless steel so no wear in there even after prolonged years of use.
The blade slides on phosphorous bronze washers with 'grease pockets'.

The blade is made using the high carbon W2 tool steel at 63 hrc (beware it is not rustproof but you know me - i am the carbon steel guy :D), with a high flat grind, and a stone washed finish to match the overall theme. The blade comes razor sharp and is correctly centered.

'The REEF' features on short:

- very light and yet very strong.
- W2 tool steel, 63 hrc, stonewashed to match 'REEF'.
- Grade 5 TA6V titanium - super fine satin finish and orange anodized.
- high quality ceramic detent ball.
- phosphorous bronze washers with 'grease pockets'.
- body screws are precision machined stainless steel that are heat colored in line with the 'REEF' theme, the stop and pivot pins are hardened, precision ground 400c stainless steel.
- pivot has Titanium precision machined screws that are blue/purple anodized.
- custom one off 'REEF' colored thumb stud.

OAL - 7.87", Blade - 3.55"

The price for this 'REEF' is - 310 usd (express shipping included).

All the best, God bless,
Bogdan

I like your idea on the thumbstud! I haven't seen it done that way before. I agree with Woody, a pocket clip would be sweet!

Thank you so much my good friends, as usual you are very nice and kind!

Smiticus Smiticus - you might have some involvement with that my friend?! :D

woodysone woodysone LimpCroissant LimpCroissant - no lanyard hole in here friends as this was made as some kind of 'gent' so i saw not a good fit :) as for the pocket clip, the knife is ready to receive it (second hole on scales) and can be ordered separately for 25 usd (if one already has one of our folders with a clip, that can be used as it is universal fit).

scorpnsnake scorpnsnake - i have a strange feeling that i know where this blinky guy is heading to my good old friend ;)

The knife is now SOLD - thank you very much!

All the best brothers, God bless,
Bogdan
