Thanks brother!! Well I've actually figured out how to anodize with my laser so the sky is the limit! I can ano super intricate patterns now!DamaCore?! Why do you do this to me Josh? I have a family to feed!
I have to say, the flintknapped look is still my all time favorite handle design on the Sparrow. Might look kind of off with the fancy DamaCore though.
If you go with laser etching, all I can say is that I recommend etching it pretty deep. etching, anodizing, and then sanding the flats back to raw titanium would be sick too.

These 2 are dc21n (mirror core)... I've only got one of the dc18n blades (dark core) for a build at some point.

Awesome! I was watching a video a while back of someone who was using a laser to anodize. I was shocked at just how consistent he could get the results! It sure looks like it beats the decal system I use, lol.
It looked like it had a bit of a learning curve though.
Chiming in from a few months ago!
This thing is awesome! Patience did pay off. I’ve had it a few months and do carry it pretty frequently!

Spent all day yesterday setting up detent and lock ups. Both are perfect now and withstood multiple firm spine taps with lockup getting later rather than slipping the other direction.

Got the grinds done today... Changed up one to a clip point (my favorite). The swedge should look killer with the Damacore!! Took the grinds to 400 grit (soon I'll start polishing from there to mirror ). Next I'm going to figure out scale contouring!
One thing I try to do when grinding, especially on customs, is check the grind height from aide to side with a caliper:

Just got done centering the blades now that the grinds are done

Not sure how this is going to turn out but I milled a through slot in the show scale on one of the builds (so you can see the Damacore when the blade is closed). I think it's gonna be pretty sweet!
I also cleaned up the perimeter and added internal and external chamfers today
