This is one of those sheaths that just came together without a lot of change from my original idea and matching a sheath to Tai's work is ALWAYS a challenge, but a welcome challenge.....
It has a bark tan liner covered with deer rawhide - the pattern in the lower section was made by building up lines on the liner and then shrinking the cover over it. The cuff and belt loop are bark tan with dyed cobra skin inlays. Wrapped copper wire and iron tacks add some decoration.....
In keeping with the "tribal" theme - in this case influenced by North African and Caribbean - I added a little "voodoo" (Tai's original name for this knife was after all Voodoo Chile!): copper beads, snake vertebrae, and carved bone skulls. (thanks Mark  )
Like all my sheaths it's made for use or to hang on the wall - whatever your heart desires .......
