The Roc Has Landed

*First impressions:
- The blade is indeed hollow ground, saber.
- Pictures have shown the blade to look polished/stainless but it has a matte gray/satin finish. Its attractive.
- Compared to my Sage 3 and Yojimbo2, it's really not all that bulky or odd in pocket. The handle is slim and slightly curved which gives the appearance of being overly meaty. Its slim profile helps here too.
- It's got some weight to it, feels solid.
- Walker liner lock is perfect as usual.
- Fit and finish is standard Spyderco, no problems at all.

Thanks for posting these initial impressions and pictures. It's bigger than I thought it would be.

This is my personal opinion, but I think it would look better with a satin blade. Not sure I did that finish...

Cool knife tho!

It's a bit different, and I like it, but a highly polished blade would look great on it. I took the edge up to 6k and it snaps contrasting with the matte gray.

I think I'll bite on this one. Different but useful (to me at least). Size, wire clip, and tip up seal the deal.
