The Rookie: who has one???

I'm wondering if I should have this on my list. I've been eyeing the Police model (stainless saber-ground version), but the Rookie's supposed to be the mini-Police. It seems like such a well-designed knife, how is it, the G-10 version? Plain or full-serrated?

The Rookie is the same design and style as the Police model, except smaller...making it easier to carry.Steel is ATS-55 and is available in plain or Spyderedge.

The Rookie is a nice little knife. I had one and liked it, except for the fact it was a little too small. Not that much, just enough to make me a little uncomfortable when I used it. My hand was almost on the blade when I used it. I don't have large hands either.

The handle on the Rookie is small but it has more blade for its size than any other knife I can think of. I would definitely recommend one. I really like the plain G-10 model.

The Rookie is a great knife. I have found it has one of the most comfortable handles around for a small folder. Only handle that beats it in the "small" Spydie line is the Wegner Jr. I have the serrated version and it has totally replaced my Delica and Mini-AFCK. Seems the perfect size knife for what I use a knife for on a daily basis.
 
I've got to agree that it is great knife. Excellent blade-handle ratio. I've got the steel bodied version, and if I had to complain about it I'd say that it is simple weighty for it's size. Try the G-10 version with serrations and I bet you'll be thanking us for suggesting it!

I' ve held and used both the Rookie and the Standard G 10. The Standard is close to the Delica in size. It is a nice working folder and probably a better choice if you feel the Rookie is a bit small. I prefer the Standard with my medium size hands. But they may be a bit difficult to locate as I believe they are now discontinued.
