Finally home from work (long day). Here is the knife my Daughter bought me for Christmas, it's to cool for school. I will be changing out the blade and will be making some new scales for it. I bought a bunch of exotic cut-off wood scraps from a fellow who make custom walking canes.

Along with my return to hunting was a new discovery...I can't see the dang sights anymore. I hunt down in the deep woods, on foot, where a long shot is 25 yards and the sun rarely hits the ground. I had to buy a new rifle with optics on it to see so I decided to do this little Texas themed pic with the new, old gun.

Staying with the 118, this is my favorite, not a user just to look at and fondle. It has the same blade as the first one I posted today, but was customized by Remer/Stone. Preston

Okay so you got this knife for Christmas and you are going to change the blade and the scales? What is actually remains of the gift?

it's one of the two screw together bcci 110s. built to change scales and blades if one has them and wants to do it. so swapping is part of the beauty of the gift for folks who like to do changes. also done much easier than a pinned 110.:)

The gift is the interchangeable 110. The scales are removable as well as the blade. The BCCI Summer gig this year they even sold some new scales for these knives. I got some very sweet wood that will look great on this frame. Also, any of these blades will too (my Daughter knew it was my plan).
