The SAK parcel-hook

Its primarily use is for field appendectomies*. Just insert, twist and pull it out. Use the scissors to cut it off, then the awl to stitch the incision. (*Sterilize everything first.)

:D What do I do if there's no awl (because it's been replaced by that pesky hook!)? :D

Thanks for all the suggestions fellers, I might even occasionally use one or two of them. Would still prefer an awl though, or even the Philips head screwdriver. Maybe some people prefer the parcel-hook! :)
 
The corkscrew has a useful role. It houses that tiny screwdriver inside itself.

The hook can be sharpened and used as a minor gut hook or hook disgorger.
