The SAS urban survival tin. A small knife to put in it?

Suggestions on a very small knife to put in a SAS type urban survival tin. I have a razor already, I’m looking to get a sturdy back up that can do things the razor cant. So here is a picture of the tin I’m going to be using. It’s a cigarette case; it’s just the size I want so I can EDC it (which is the point of having one of these).

Maybe a small fixed blade, folder or a netsuke. What have you guy used?

Thanks for taking the time and be safe out there.:thumbup:

I think a SAK would be perfect, mine has a one handed Trekker.

Something like a Gerber Mini-Remix, Gerber Ridge, both I believe you can remove the clip from, making them flatter; I have a Gerber Ridge with a plain edge in my EDC, I love it, despite the bad rap Gerbers seem to have on this forum. Otherwise, perhaps:
CRKT Neckolas (maybe without the sheath?); or Swiss Army Classic SD athough I'm guessing the SA is not quite the style you have in mind.

Let us know what you decide on, interesting question!

I recal a few years back seeing knives this one fellow made specifically for this purpose... stowing in a little survival tin. They were squat little skeletonized fixed blades... too bad I don't recall exactly who the maker was... Scott Grossman maybe?
As per folders, I'd go with a small Douk Douk. They're very slender, and have a nice stiff spring in them. Space is at a premium in such tins, and a wee DD would use less of it than many folders of similar blade length.

That little one I believe is actually made for this, it even comes whit a tin for this purpose. Any other ideas. I’ve seen some guys use the cold steel mini pall whit the rubber handle taken off.

+2 on the Ladybug

I think the lady bug it a bit too big for the space I have available, I going for something a bit smaller than the altoids tin, I’m going to take a picture of the altoids tin and the cigarette case I plan to use.

A Douk Douk is a great idea.

I think an H1 Ladybug is an excellent idea it's very small compact and resistant to corrosion.

The smallest of the dozier/kabar folders will fit well, .8 oz and flat, aus-8 and very inexpensive

I have an orange handled one in my tin and the wife has a pink one in her purse
