This one started out as a Desert Tan CGFBM from BCS. As usual, it sports a full flat grind and hand rubbed satin finish. It now mics out at .21 so it is not exactly anorexic. Hope you guys like it.

Looks nice from this distance!!! Do you have closer shot of your satin finish?

OMG!!!

Are you reading my mind Ban???
Correct me if I'm wrong, but do I see a flat spine going into a subtle drop point???

I would like to see some close up pics too!

Looks great...

Seriously... I was just holding a straight edge to my CG FBM...

You're freakin' me out! :D

.

We should talk about how much would you willing to work on such service for hogs :D :D :D

Then we will hv Snake Satin, Sage G-10 Satin, Black/Green satin, Blue Red satin......on and on and on of Satin Varient joy :D :D :D

Ok, I just uploaded new pics with a different angle and a closer shot.

Lil'Foo,
The spine is straight and it is also a drop point. I guess I did read you mind

Wuyeah,
I rubbed the satin finish horizontal which is my preference. I find that it is easier for me to restore if it gets mucked up from use.

Real Mods are better done by the Busse Custom Shop. They are professionals and are better equipped. You don't want no schmoe mucking around with your expensive busse blades ;)

How many hours did that take you, 40?
block and sand paper?
I will take it!

If you were to redo the bevels with block and sandpaper it will take you about oh.........say 1yr :)

Seriously though, I would never even attempt to do it by hand. I had to use a belt sander to redo the profile and bevels. Even then it took me a good 7-8hrs of grinding because I had to go really slow and dunk it in water often. At one point I was ready to throw the darn blade across the room because the process was so slow. Then I finally realized that I had worn out all abrasives on my 60grit belt. After sanding I hand rubbed the satin finish.

 OMFG, Ban that is amazing!  I love it! I think you read MY mind. Ever since I got a Lep Warden, I have been thinking how good Green Linen scales would look on naked INFI. I was thinking of getting a CGFBM to strip, and do some hand sanding, thin the edge, and leave the corrugations unpolished for contrast.

Yours looks WAY better than whatever I would have managed. You have great Grinder Fu. :D

btw, how much better does it chop with that zero edge?

now, put a clip point on it, and I'll take it.....
